Poland's most famous Silesia stadium is located in the city of Chorzow. It has been thoroughly rebuilt and has become one of the most modern football and sports facilities in Europe.

The original stadium was opened in 1956 as a landmark building for the rebirth of Poland after the war. There have been some of the most important and commemorative games in the football world, including the legendary players John Cruyff, George Best, Cristiano Ronaldo and so on. Project Difficulties

At the beginning of the reconstruction in 2009, the new 43000 square meter roof had become the biggest project difficulty. Despite the difficulties and additional costs, the national importance of the site has ensured the overcoming of the project, which was finally completed in 2017, the largest polycarbonate roof stadium in Europe.

The Silesia stadium is open all the year, so the sound system must be in accordance with the protection level of the IP55. Most importantly, the shell and accessories of the speaker must be able to withstand the harsh winter climate in Poland. System Design

Most of the system design is based on Community speakers. The main system of the auditorium is divided into eight zones. A total of 119 Community R2-52Z three frequency loudspeakers and 40 R6-BASSHORN are added. The tilted seats in the stadium are arranged like a theater pick-up stand. The seats and channels in the platform are covered by 61 Community W2-2W8 speakers. The field is covered by 4 high-power three frequency R2-694Z speakers.

In addition to the main stadium system, 80 Community speakers are installed around the stadiums. 40 R.25-94Z speakers directly point to the corridor surrounding the wall of the stadium; 40 high performance column line sound source loudspeakers cover the area between the stadium and the enclosure around the site and the entrance gate. The indoor and public areas of the venue are covered by 108 Community I/O8 and 88 DS8 wall speakers.

All sound systems in the Silesia stadium are fully integrated with the audio alarm system. The audio alarm system will give full priority in emergency situations, and can make use of the sound system to control crowd more effectively and guide the audience to evacuate.
